The Irish Youth Circus Focus Featured

We were delighted to host the 'Irish Youth Circus Focus' at this year’s Share Forum - Circus – Past, Present and Future & Irish Youth Circus Focus this November at the National Circus Festival 2017 in Tralee. We also ran some funambulism (tight wire walking) workshops as part of our Wires Crossed Galway 2020 project while we down there.

It was so great to see our youth circus sector friends from around the country where we discussed developing this exciting art form and bringing it to more young people across the country. During the session, we heard about what’s going on in different youth circus groups around the country and brainstormed on how we could support each other better in the future. Exciting times ahead!

The “Irish Youth Circus Focus” was hosted by Galway Community Circus in association with Irish Street Arts, Circus & Spectacle Network, National Circus Festival of Ireland and funded by the Arts Council Ireland.
