Are you between 18 and 30 years old?

Have you experience or interest in social work, education, sport or circus and/or project management and coordination, administration, costumes or graphic design?

Are you keen to work and learn in a Youth Circus?

…then this is the experience is for you!

Galway Community Circus is searching for four motivated young people that, in the framework of the European Solidarity Corps/European Voluntary Service, dream to be part of a team and contribute to exciting projects while learning new skills.

The ESC/EVS project in Galway Community Circus will last 11 months from 9th September 2019 to 10th August 2020. The experience will conclude with the organisation and participation of the Wires Crossed festival that will see 400 people of all backgrounds including artists and trainers, crossing the Claddagh River as part of Galway 2020 European Capital of Culture!

Please send your CV and motivation letter to esc@galwaycircus.com or sarah@galwaycircus.com by the 31st March 2019 h23.59/11.59pm Irish time. Both documents must be present for consideration. Interviews will be organised for the second week of April, and the selected four candidates will receive a confirmation by the end of April.

Summer Camps at Galway Community Circus

Here at Galway Community Circus, we really do have something for everyone this summer.

Join us to celebrate circus arts with a variety of classes in juggling, acrobatics, aerial and balancing skills.

We have summer camps and workshops available for toddlers, youth ages 5 - 20 and adults.

 Make sure to check out the amazing Ronan Brady's masterclass in Cyr Wheel for something fun on the 14th and 15th July.

We also have our ongoing Wires Crossed project as part of Galway 2020 ongoing this summer and would love you to be a part of it.

We hope to train 400 people of all ages and from all walks of life in the art of Funambulism (tightrope walking). Be a part of it and find your balance with Wires Crossed.
